History
2007-08: After being drafted in the first round of the 2006 OHL Priority Draft, Bogosian was a solid performer for the Peterborough Petes during the 2006-07 season. The American-born defenseman was tied for fifth on his team for assists and recorded almost a half point a game as a rookie. Bogosian was named a Petes alternate captain for the 2007-08 season, and he responded by leading the team in scoring and finishing second overall among league defensemen with 50 assists. Named an OHL All-Star, Bogosian played in the CHL Top Prospects Game and was voted top defensive defenseman in the OHL Coaches poll (tied with Geoff Killing), second among offensive blueliners and third in both the league's smartest player and hardest worker categories.
Talent Analysis
A smooth skater, with a high hockey IQ, Bogosian has already filled out his body and uses it for very solid defensive play. He can move the puck well and has an excellent shot.
Future
Has the potential to be a top-pairing defenseman. He's penciled in for the Thrashers roster in 2008-09.
