Blazers' Leclerc named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

Leclerc made 21 saves in regulation and overtime before shutting down four shooters in the shootout to back the Blazers to a 2-1 win over the Kelowna Rockets on Wednesday and then stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 4-1 win over the Chilliwack Bruins on Saturday. The 18-year-old native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan improved his season record to 7-8-1-0 with a 2.87 goals against average and .889 save percentage in 17 games.
Jhase Sniderman of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies was the QMJHL nominee after winning all three of his starts last week with a 2.00 goals against average and .931 save percentage and Tomi Karhunen of the Sarnia Sting was the OHL nominee after three road wins with a 1.33 goals against average and .953 save percentage.
