Written by: League Press Release on 12/04/2007
Gajewski was the second star after allowing one goal on 27 shots in 4-1 win over the Sarnia Sting on Wednesday, was the third star after allowing one goal on 28 shots in 2-1 win over the Windsor Spitfires on Friday and finished the week with third star recognition after allowing two goals on 29 shots in 3-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday. He also stopped two of three shootout attempts in that game.
The 20-year-old London native is second among all OHL goaltenders with a 2.22 goals against average to go along with a 19-5-0-1 record and .921 save percentage in 25 games. Gajewski, who started the season with 11 straight wins, needs just six more victories for 100 in his four-year OHL career.
