The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Guelph Storm goaltender Thomas McCollum is the Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday December 16 after posting shutout wins in both of his starts last week.

McCollum started the week with 29 saves and was the first star when he backed the Storm to a 1-0 overtime win over the Windsor Spitfires on Friday. He then turned aside 26 shots and was the second star in a 3-0 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday for his third shutout in his past four starts.
