Swift named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week

After playing in the OHL All-Star Classic last week in Sault Ste. Marie, Swift returned to the IceDogs with a bang, scoring three goals and two assists and was the first star in an 8-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on Thursday. After being held off the score sheet in a 2-1 win over the London Knights on Friday, Swift scored his second hat trick of the week and added an assist in a 5-2 win over the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors on Sunday. He was named the first start of the game.
Swift, a 20-year-old native of Peterborough, improved his season totals to 25 goals and 49 assists for 74 points in 53 games.
