Gajewski named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week

Gajewski started the week by stopping all 24 shots he faced in a 3-0 road win over the Sarnia Sting on Thursday. He was named first star of the game after posting his second shutout of the season. Gajewski made 35-saves and then stopped four of five shooters in a 2-1 shootout win over the Plymouth Whalers at Compuware Arena on Saturday. He was named second star of that game and racked up his league-leading 34th win of the season.
Gajewski, a 20-year-old from London, ON, improved his season record to 34-13-1-3 to go along with a 2.42 goals against average and .913 save percentage in 52 games. He was also named Boston Pizza OHL Player of the Week on December 3.
