IceDogs’ Dahm named ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week

The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Sebastian Dahm of the Niagara IceDogs is the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week after posting a 3-0 record with a pair of shutouts in the first three games of their opening round OHL playoff series against the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors last week. He finished the week with a 0.33 goals against average and .989 save percentage.

 
Dahm started the playoffs with 29 saves in a 4-0 win in Game 1 of the series on Thursday. He made 32 saves in a 3-1 win in Game 2 on Friday and turned aside all 33 shots he faced in a 5-0 win in Game 3 on Sunday. The 21-year-old from Copenhagen, Denmark was 28-25-1-2 with a 3.09 goals against average and .915 save percentage in 57 regular season games this year.
 
Chet Pickard of the Tri City Americans was the WHL nominee after going 2-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and .962 save percentage and Maxim Gougeon of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies was the QMJHL nominee after going 2-0 with a shutout, 1.50 goals against average and .949 save percentage to start the playoffs.
