Bryce Swan of the Halifax Mooseheads named CHL Player of the Week

The Canadian Hockey League today announced that Bryce Swan of the Halifax Mooseheads is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday March 23 after scoring five goals and two assists for seven points in two games.

 

Swan started the week with three goals and an assist in a 6-2 win over the Victoriaville Tigres in the opening game of their first round QMJHL playoff series on Friday. He scored two goals and an assist in an 11-1 win over the Tigres in Game 2 on Saturday.

 

The 20-year-old right winger from North Sydney, NS scored 25 goals and 24 assists for 49 points in 67 games this season.

 

Niagara IceDogs goaltender Sebastian Dahm was the OHL nominee after posting a 3-0 record with two shutouts and one goal against in three playoff games. Dustin Sylvester of the Kootenay Ice was the WHL nominee after scoring one goal and four assists for five points in two games.
