Barrie Colts forward Andreas Athanasiou is among the scoring leaders in the OHL and on Thursday night added to his totals in a 9-2 drubbing of the Niagara IceDogs at the Gatorade Garden City Complex in St. Catharines, ON.

Athanasiou was the scoring star in this game, netting five goals and adding two assists for a seven-point night. This is the second consecutive game against the IceDogs in which Athanasiou has scored four or more goals.

The Detroit Red Wings prospect currently stands third overall in scoring in the OHL with 40 goals and 39 assists for 79 points in 51 games. He has already surpassed his career-high for points (67) with 17 games left in the 2013-14 season. Hockey's Future currently has Athanasiou ranked 14th among Red Wings prospects, but he could be due for a bump up the rankings in light of his performance this season.
