Chris Forfar, Lincoln Stars
Forfar paced the Stars offensively, figuring in over half of their goals on the week as they increased their West Division lead to four points. He scored a power play goal and added two assists in a 5-0 win over Des Moines on Friday. On Saturday, he scored another power play goal, which turned out to be the game-winner, and added an assist in a 4-1 win over Fargo.

CCM Defensive Player of the WeekJake Newton Lincoln Stars
Newton had a four-point week in helping Lincoln win a pair of games and stretch their lead in the West Division. Newton had three assists, setting up a pair of power play goals and the game-winner in a 5-0 win over Des Moines on Friday. He added another assist in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Fargo on Saturday. Newton was a +2 and had six shots on goal in the two wins.

Stauber’s Goaltender of the WeekKevin Murdock Lincoln Stars
Murdock was solid in a pair of Lincoln wins, giving him his second Goaltender of the Week nod this season. He made 25 saves in a 5-0 shutout of Des Moines on Friday, his first shutout of the season. The next night he made 20 saves in a 4-1 win over Fargo. He was 2-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and a .978 save percentage this week for the first place Stars.
