Scott Pavelski Waterloo Black Hawks

Pavelski, who had one point coming into last week, erupted with a seven-point week. He scored a goal and had an assist in a 5-4 loss at Chicago on Wednesday. On Friday, he had a pair of assists in an 8-6 win at Des Moines. The next night he scored a pair of goals, including a shorthanded goal and the game-winner, and added an assist in a 5-2 win over Fargo. He had 10 shots on goal last week and was +8 .

CCM Defensive Player of the Week
John Moore Chicago Steel
College: Colorado College
NHL: Undrafted
Moore, the second-highest scoring defenseman in the USHL had a good week in his return to the Steel lineup. Moore set up the game-winning goal in a 5-4 win over Waterloo on Wednesday. After going scoreless in a 6-2 loss at Omaha Friday, he came back and assisted on two goals, including the game-winner once again, in a 6-2 win at Tri-City. He was +4 for the week.

Stauber's Goaltender of the Week
Mike Lee Fargo Force
College: St. Cloud State
NHL: Undrafted
Lee returned to the Force goal after a week at the World Jr. A Challenge and was solid in his only appearance of the week. He made 22 saves in helping the Force win on the road, 4-1 at Sioux City. He was 1-0-0 for the week with a 1.00 goals against average and a .957 save percentage. Lee has the fifth-best goals against average in the league.
