Josh Berge Tri-City Storm
College: Minnesota State-Mankato
Berge had a monster weekend, helping the Storm win back-to-back games for just the second time this season. After going scoreless in a 3-1 loss to Lincoln on Tuesday, Berge had three assists in a 6-2 win at Omaha on Friday. The next night, he scored a goal and added four assists, including setting up the game-winning goal in a 6-4 win over Des Moines.

CCM Defensive Player of the Week
Jake Newton Lincoln Stars
Newton, currently fourth in scoring among USHL defensemen, had another good week as the Stars held their lead in the West Division. On Tuesday, Newton had a pair of assists in a 3-1 win at Tri-City. On Friday, he went scoreless in a 3-1 loss at Green Bay. Saturday he scored a goal and had an assist in a 5-2 win at Chicago. He had eight shots on goal and was +3 in the three games.

Stauber’s Goaltender of the Week
Mike Lee Fargo Force
College: St. Cloud State
NHL: Undrafted (#4 in mid-term rankings)
Lee was his usual spectacular self, helping the Force pick up a pair of road wins and closing the gap in the West Division on second-place Omaha. On Friday, Lee made 27 saves in a 2-1 win at Sioux Falls, snapping the Stampede’s six-game winning streak. The next night, he made 29 stops in a 2-1 win at Sioux City. For the week, Lee was 2- 0-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and a .966 save percentage.
