Josh Birkholz Fargo Force
NHL: Undrafted (#33 in mid-term rankings)
Birkholz was a point producing machine on the weekend, helping the Force win three at home and move into second place in the division. On Friday, he scored four times in an 8-1 win over Chicago. The next night he scored another goal in a 3-1 win over the Steel. On Sunday afternoon, he added a pair of assists in an 8-0 win over Des Moines. He had 11 shots on goal and was +7.

CCM Defensive Player of the Week
Torey Krug Indiana Ice
College: Michigan State
Krug had a big weekend at both ends of the rink, helping the Ice take a pair of games on the road at Tri-City. On Friday night, Krug had a goal and an assist in a 6-4 win. The next night, Krug had three assists in a 5-3 win. With the five points, Krug is now the second-highest scoring defenseman in the USHL. He scored on his only shot on goal this week and finished +5.

Mike Lee Fargo Force
College: St. Cloud State
NHL: Undrafted (#4 in mid-term rankings)
Yet another great week for Lee, as he helped the Force win three straight and jump into second place in the West Division. After a night off on Friday, Lee stepped in and made 25 saves in a 3-1 win over Chicago on Saturday. Then on Sunday afternoon, Lee made 26 saves in an 8-0 blanking of Des Moines, his second shutout of the season. Lee went 2-0-0 with a 0.50 goals against average and a .981 save percentage.
