Reebok Offensive Player of the Week

Dakota Eveland Omaha Lancers

Eveland had a big week, helping the Lancers go 2-1-0 and clinch a berth in the 2009 Clark Cup Playoffs. On Tuesday, he scored a power play goal and added an assist as the Lancers crushed Lincoln 7-1. On Friday he scored twice in a 6-3 win at Chicago. He scored another goal in a 4-2 loss at Indiana on Saturday. He recorded seven shots on goal and was +4.

NHL: Undrafted (#8 in mid-term rankings)

The USHL‘s highest rated prospect for the 2009 NHL Draft enjoyed a good week at both ends of the rink. On Friday he had an assist in a 6-3 loss to Omaha. The point ended a five-game scoring drought for Moore. Saturday he scored a goal and set up the game-tying marker on the power play of a 4-3 shootout win over Lincoln. Moore had eight shots on goal last week.

Stauber’s Goaltender of the Week

Parker Milner Waterloo Black Hawks

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
College: Uncommitted
NHL: Undrafted

Milner was solid in goal for Waterloo, giving them a pair of wins on home ice and stretching his personal winning streak to four games. Friday night he stopped 28 shots in a 3-0 win over Sioux City, his second consecutive shutout. On Saturday, he turned aside 21 shots in a 4-3 shootout win over Fargo. For the week, Milner was 2-0-0 with a 1.44 goals against average and a .942 save percentage.
