PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins signed forward Casey Pierro-Zabotel to a three-year entry-level contract on Tuesday.
Pierro-Zabotel will report to the American Hockey League’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, who are currently in the East Division final against Hershey. Pierro-Zabotel led the Western Hockey League this season with 36 goals and 79 assists for 115 points, and had a plus-62 rating while helping the Vancouver Giants to an appearance in the WHL‘s Western Conference final.
