BOUCHERVILLE, Monday, October 5, 2009 – Montreal Juniors forward Guillaume Asselin and Quebec Remparts defenseman Samuel Groulx today were named the TELUS offensive and defensive players of the week for the period extending from September 28 to October 4.

Asselin registered three goals, including a game-winner, and added four assists in wins over the Rocket, the Sea Dogs and the Drakkar. Moreover, he posted an impressive +6 rating. Quebec leads the TELUS Eastern division standings with 14 points.
