Adam, Laporte and Janosik earn TELUS Player of the Month Awards

Luke Adam of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles is the award-winner on offence after tallying ten goals, including two game-winners, and twelve assists in fourteen games. Moreover, he posted a +10 rating while racking up twenty-two hits. The Screaming Eagles finished the month of October with a 9-4-0-1 record.
Gabriel Lévesque (Huskies), Maxime Sauvé (Foreurs) and Gabriel Dumont (Voltigeurs) were also considered.
Hugo Laporte of the Gatineau Olympiques is the recipient on defence. In ten games, he recorded four goals and seven assists while posting an excellent +11 rating. Moreover, he helped the Olympiques allow only 2.6 goals per game during that span. Finally, Laporte registered fourteen hits.
Marc-Antoine Gélinas (Sea Dogs), Marco Scandella (Foreurs) and Yann Sauvé (Sea Dogs) were also in the mix.
Adam Janosik of the Gatineau Olympiques gets the nod as the top rookie. In ten games, the native of the Czech Republic recorded three goals and five assists. Also, he posted a very impressive +12 rating. His performances enabled the Olympiques to secure the top spot in the TELUS Western Division standings with a 7-3 record.
Petr Straka (Océanic), Kirill Kabanov (Wildcats) and Christopher Gibson (Saguenéens) also received consideration.
