Deschamps and Dunnett win TELUS Player of the Week Awards

Deschamps recorded three goals and four assists for a total of seven points in three road games. Moreover, two of his markers were scored shorthanded. The Saguenéens sniper arguably played his best game of the week on Sunday, registering three points in a 6-5 overtime loss to the P.E.I. Rocket.
Gabriel Bourque (Drakkar), Sean Couturier (Voltigeurs) and Nicholas Petersen (Sea Dogs) were also considered.
On defence, Nathan Dunnett gets the honour. In two starts, the Drakkar goaltender collected two wins while posting a 0.50 goals-against-average and incredible .980 save percentage. He earned a shutout over the Rimouski Océanic on Friday, pushing away 25 shots. Baie-Comeau has won a season-best three straight games.
Matthew Hobbs (Rocket), Gabriel Girard (Cataractes) and Joël Chouinard (Tigres) were also considered.
