Team Canada and Team USA both began the 2015 World Junior Championship in fine fashion, albeit slightly more so for the host Canadians. Both teams won their first two games and find themselves ranked 1-2 as they head into their New Year’s Eve showdown.

Hockey’s Future will be producing podcasts over the course of the remainder of the tournament. Joining us on the podcasts will be scouts from ISS Hockey who are currently in Toronto and Montreal taking in the proceedings. They’ll provide their insight into some of the more significant players taking part in the tournament, including their take on both drafted and undrafted players.

The first podcast, one of a series of three, covers the top two teams in Group A, Canada, and the USA. Joining me on the podcast is ISS Hockey’s head scout for Quebec, Marc Lapointe, who also happens to be a past writer for Hockey’s Future. marc is taking in the proceedings at the Bell Centre in Montreal, and provides his comments in the podcast featured below. Subject mater includes players such as Connor McDavid, Nic Petan, Dylan Larkin, and Auston Matthews.
