Team Canada Under 18 National Team

Canada’s National Under 18 team takes home the gold medal from the 4 Nations Cup tournamament that was held in the Czech Republic. This event was hosted by the Czech Ice Hockey Association in Prostejov, about 200 km from Prague and it involves 4 teams 18 and under>> Canada, Czech Republic, USA, Slovakia. The tournament began August 19 and ended August 22 in the Czech Republic. August 14-18 exhibition games were played in Slovakia. Each team has a 22 man roster.

Comments: Kris was drafted by the Belleville Bulls in the 1998 OHL Draft in the 1st round (18th overall). Kris also played with Team Ontario in the 1999 Canada Winter Games. Helped the Belleville Bulls win the 1998-99 Ontario Hockey League finals and advance to the Memorial Cup. Kris is an
excellent skater with good speed, and is a big threat on the ice with his speed and abilty. Plays hard every night and is well liked by his teammates on and off the ice. Will be a player to recon with in the up coming Ontario Hockey League season.

Comments:Brad was Erie’s 1st round choice, 12th overall in the 1998 OHL Draft. Brad was selected to the Ontario Hockey Leagues 1998-99 OHL 2nd All Rookie team. Was Team Ontario’s assistant captain in the 1999 Winter games. Brad also was captain of the Mississauga Rattlers and helped them win the
North American Under 21 Roller Hockey Championships in 1998. Brad is an excellent skater with good agilty. Has an accurate shot with a very quick release and handles the puck well. Comes to play hard each and every night and can be relied upon to score the big goal when needed.

Plays consistent every night and can be counted on to make the big save to keep his team in the game.
