HF Podcast: Chabot grooms Oilers young goaltenders

By Glen Erickson

Although he didn’t spend much time during his pro career minding the goal crease at the NHL level, Edmonton Oilers goaltending coach Frederic Chabot is the man responsible for molding that club’s goaltending prospects into bona fide NHL backstops.

Chabot was in Penticton, BC the past few days to assess the performances of a couple of Oilers’ goaltending prospects, Tyler Bunz and Olivier Roy.  Both players took part in the 2010 Young Guns Tournament hosted by the Vancouver Canucks.  Chabot took some time out to chat with HF writer Glen Erickson for this Hockey’s Future Podcast.
