The Arizona Coyotes had a season to forget in 2014-15, but they have gotten off on the right foot in 2015-16 with a 4-1 win over a struggling Los Angeles Kings squad. Aside from the win, maybe the best news for the Coyotes was the two-point performance from forward Max Domi, which included his first NHL goal.
After notching his first NHL point with an assist on a first period goal by Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Domi then opened the scoring in the second period with his first goal. Los Angeles forward Jordan Weal gained control of the puck in the Kings’ zone and moved through the middle of the ice, only to cough up the puck to Arizona defenseman Connor Murphy. Murphy then quickly fed the puck to Domi just inside the Kings blueline.
