Swedish forward Filip Forsberg is considered to be among the top prospects available for the 2012 NHL Draft. Forsberg burnished his credentials a bit in Sweden‘s opening game, 8-4 win over Latvia as he was named the Player of the Game for Sweden. Forsberg wasn’t as much of a factor in his team’s second win at the 2012 WJC, a 4-3 shootout win over Switzerland, but he and fellow 2012 prospect Sebastien Collberg still were a threat playing together on the fourth line.
Forsberg talked about the win over the Swiss following the game.
