Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Filip Novak Regina WHL 34 12 22 34 38 12This Week: 3 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 1 P, 5 PIM, +1
Notes: Would be playing for the Czech Republic in the WJC, but because of past problems with his former Czech team, they refused to let him play in the tournament. He currently has 5 more goals this year through 34 games than he had all last year in 47 games. He also is only 5 points away from matching last seasons totals. His play has really improved from last season.
Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Garret Bembridge Saskatoon WHL 35 24 20 44 12 -13This Week: 3 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 2 P, 0 PIM, -6
Notes: Is having an outstanding season this year, and may have a bright future ahead of him. He needs 3 goals to match last season’s output in which he had 27 goals in 72 games. He also needs only 14 points to match his production from last season. Will likely see the AHL next season as he will be 20 and would be eligible to play in the minors.

Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Premsyl Duben Baie-Comeau QMJHL 23 0 7 7 24 -5This Week: No Games Played
Notes: A lot remains unknown about this kid. He was ranked 77th overall out of Europeans leading up to the draft, and a lot of people didn’t even know he existed. I’m hoping he’s good as other good players went later in that same 4th round..most notably Lubomir Visnovsky. Duben is still looking for his 1st goal of the season.
Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Nathan Martz New Hampshire HE 16 3 7 10 8 +2This Week: 2 GP, 2 G, 2 A, 4 P, 0 PIM, +3
Notes: Had a good offensive week, potting 2 goals in 2 games. Before that he only had 1 goal through 14 games. Is playing faster paced hockey this season than he did last year in the BCHL and has found that scoring doesn’t come easy anymore.
Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Patrick Aufiero Boston U. HE 13 1 3 4 12 -1This Week: No Games Played

Notes: This junior has been playing great for Union this year. He has been getting some attention around the hockey world after being nearly unknown in the Entry Draft. There’s a possibility his peak will only be a mediocre minor leaguer as it looks now, but there’s still a lot of time for things to change.

Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Patrick Leahy Miami-Ohio CCHA 16 3 14 17 26 +3This Week: 1 GP, 1 G, 1 A, 2 P, 0 PIM, Even
Notes: This rugged senior is developing into a nice power forward, although he likely won’t be the answer to the Rangers’ need. Where he will be playing next season remains unknown as of now, but, with Pavel Brendl and Jamie Lundmark likely to take up whatever forward positions are available, it seems like he will be in the minors.
Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- David Inman Notre Dame CCHA 17 6 2 8 6 -4This Week: 3 GP, 0 G, 0 A, 0 P, 2 PIM, -1

Notes: Has been recalled by the Rangers and has received a lot of ice time with the Rangers. Has been playing extremely well, and head coach Ron Low has said nothing but great things about him. He may be up with the Rangers for good, although was selected to the AHL all-star team.
Player Team League GP G A P PIM +/- Stefan Cherneski Hartford AHL 24 1 5 6 26 N/AThis Week: 1 GP, 0 G, 0 A, 0 P, 0 PIM
