German prospects – the update
A rating for the games since January, 23th till February, 9th

VERY GOOD
Good, better, Marcel Goc. The first line, ukrainian Vadim Slivchenko, czech Patrik Augusta and Marcel Goc is the only line in Schwenningen who wins the games. In the game against Mannheim he skate past all five players from mannheim and shots a sensational goal! Also in this game whe was named the best player of the game for the fourth time in this season and for the third time in the month january. In fact of this he was named the player of the month, together with DEL-top-scorer Sergej Vostrikov, goalies Mike Rosati, Chris Rogles and Sinuhe Wallinheimo.

Two very good weeks for defenseman Patrick Köppchen and his career. The München Barons signed him to a Junior-licence (german „Förderlizenz“) and he makes his DEL-debut in the 3-1 win against Augsburg. Coach Sean Simpson said he gave the team spirit and impulse in his second game against Düsseldorf, where he assist one goal.

Christoph Schubert plays a good defense-part in the 3th line by champion München Barons.
Christoph Schubert had two very good weeks, scored two goals for his team and plays a strong defensive part. In the 3-2 win against Köln he scores his first power-play-goal and were named „best player of the game“.

Dennis Seidenberg shines again in the DEL with his team, Adler Mannheim. Mannheim is on top of the table and coach Bill Stewart give Seidenberg more and more ice-time. In the game against Kassel he shots 4 time and had a +2statistic (mark: Mannheim-Kassel 2-3).

And he scores again… . Jonas Lanier from the Berlin Capitals had his first two-point-game in the DEL, scored one goal and one assist in the 8-3 win against Augsburg.

W Yannic Seidenberg assists on 6 goals in two games with Mannheim’s junior-team in the DNL. With 35 assists he has the most assists in this league.

Schwenningen’s Thomas Greilinger, germans topscorer at the B-Worldchampionship last year, convincing in power-play, assisted one Poerplay-goal in Schwenningen’s 3-1 win against Augsburg.

The first two-point-game for LW Martin Hinterstocker, he assisted on 2 goals. One week later he scored his 7th goal of the season with the 3-1 against Bremerhaven in Riessersee’s 5-3 win.

Köln’s biggest offense-talent, Christoph Ullmann, his the top-scorer in the fourth league, but he waits for his first game in the DEL for the Kölner Haie…

Just one assist in the last games for Duisburg and no point in his appereancesses with Krefeld in the DEL. Good actions, but only one point. Try again next week, Adrian Grygiel.

Daniel Kreutzer and his team, the Kassel Huskies, ends a bad loss-series. He plays solide, but didn’t shine in the last games. Signed a contract-extension for the 2001-2002 season.

Defender Sebastian Jones was injured at the beginning of the season and is now on a good way to get more ice-time in Kassel.

Manuel Kofler and his team hadn’t two good weeks and he had no point, -3 and 8 penalty minutes in the last five games.
