Calgary -- Announced they have acquired goaltender Roman Turek and a 4th round draft pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Fred Brathwaite, Sergei Varlamov and center Daniel Tkaczuk.
Chicago Blackhawks -- Announced they have acquired a 4th round draft pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for defenseman Stephane Quintal.
Dallas Stars -- Announced they have acquired defenseman Jyrki Lumme from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for forward Tyler Bouck.
Florida Panthers -- Announced they have acquired the 24th overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for the 44th and 48th overall picks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft; announced they have acquired forwards Jim Wiemer and Valeri Bure from the Calgary Flames in exchange for a 2nd round draft pick (Medvedev).
Minnesota Wild -- Announced they acquired the 74th overall pick from the NY Rangers in exchange for the 79th and 139th overall picks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
NY Islanders -- Announced they have acquired the 101st overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and Florida's 3rd round pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft from the Florida Panters in exchange for the 64th overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
NY Rangers -- Announced they have acquired defenseman Chris St. Croix from the Calgary Flames in exchange for defenseman Burke Henry.
Ottawa Senators -- Announced they have acquired defenseman Zdeno Chara, forward Bill Muckalt, and the 2nd overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft from the NY Islanders in exchange for center Alexei Yashin and the 27th overall pick.
Philadelphia Flyers -- Announced they have acquired the 27th and 225th overall picks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft along with Tampa Bay's 2nd round pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for the 23rd overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft; announced they have acquired the rights to forward Jiri Dopita from the Florida Panthers in exchange for the 56th overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
Phoenix Coyotes -- Announced they have acquired the 11th overall pick from the Calgary Flames in exchange for the 14th overall pick and the 41st overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
Toronto Maple Leafs -- Announced they have acquired the 88th overall pick from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Igor Korolev.
