LANSING, MI (Friday, January 18, 2002) — A hat trick by Pat Levendusky
lifted the Pittsburgh Forge Junior A hockey club to a 3-1 triumph over the
Capital Centre Pride in Lansing, Michigan. Two of Levendusky’s three goals
came on the power play. As a result of his big night, Levendusky now has 17
goals, including 11 power plays goals, and leads the Forge in both
categories. Tonight also marked the fifth time this season Levendusky picked
up the game-winning goal. Forge goaltender Tim Heneroty stopped 29 of the 30
shots he faced and recorded his NAHL-leading 22nd victory.

LANSING, MI (Saturday, January 19, 2002) — The Forge suffered a 4-2 loss to
the Capital Centre Pride in Lansing, Michigan, in the final game of a
two-game set. The Forge (24-10-2) came up short despite out-shooting the
Pride, 44-27. Pittsburgh goals were scored by Dylan Reese and Pat
Levendusky. Reese now has five goals on the season. Levendusky, who had a
hat trick in the Forge¹s 3-1 triumph over Capital Centre on Friday night,
now leads the team with 18 goals.

NEVILLE ISLAND (Monday, January 21, 2002) — Carson Strang¹s goal with 4:57
left in the final period lifted the Pittsburgh Forge Junior A hockey club to
a 2-1 victory over the Cleveland Barons tonight at the Island Sports Center
on Neville Island. Josh Coyle and Pat Levendusky assisted on the
game-winning goal as Pittsburgh¹s record improved to 25-10-2, the
second-best mark in the North American Hockey League. Pittsburgh broke on
top 1-0 at the 4:25 mark of the first period when Andre Makarov beat
Cleveland goaltender Greg Barrett from near the left face-off circle after
taking a beautiful cross-rink pass from Andy Brandt. Mike Handza also
assisted on the goal, which was Makarov’s first of the season. The Barons
tied the game 1-1 with 6:36 left in the second period on a power-play goal
by Andrew Walbert. It turned out to be the only tally allowed by Pittsburgh
goaltender Tim Heneroty, who made 30 saves and notched his league-leading
23rd win of the season. Strang’s goal was his 10th of the season and his
second game-winner.

Whats coming up: The Forge will next see action this Thursday and Friday,
January 24-25, when the Capital Centre Pride visits the Island Sports Center
for a pair of 7:30 p.m. contests. Tickets for those two games — and all
remaining Pittsburgh Forge home games — are available by calling (412)
