Jackets NCAA Update
Tim Jackman(Forward) – MSU-Mankato(WCHA)
Jackman has shown a significant amount of offensive growth in comparison to last season, which he registered 25 points(11-14-25) in 37 games. This season, he’s already improved upon his totals, putting up 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points in 29 games. He sits 25th in PPG in the WCHA conferance, behind the likes of Jeff Taffe and Mark Cullen among others.
Tyler Kolarik(Forward) – Harvard(ECAC)
Like Jackman, Kolarik has continued to show growth from his freshman year, which he registered 28 points(13-15-28). This season, in only 22 games, he has tallied 8 goals and 24 points(8-16-24), better than a PPG average. His vision with the puck has been quite good, as hilighted by his team leading 16 assists. Kolarik also leads the team in points, 3 ahead of Bruins prospect Brett Nowak
Peter Zingoni(Forward) – Providence(HEA)
Like his NCAA companions, Zingoni has also seen his offensive progress increase in his junior year. 8 points on 2 goals and 6 assists last season in 28 games has been improved apon thus far by posting 6 goals and 15 points(6-9-15) in 23 games thus far. His +9 sits him second on his team in that category.
