Fast Facts:

  • Robert Francz signed a one year contract extension with the Frankfurt Lions of the DEL.
  • Marcel Goc and Dennis Seidenberg are injured and will most likely miss the remainder of the season. However, Seidenberg recovers good and played some seconds in the semi-final game today.
  • Germany’s top prospect for the NHL Entry Draft 2002, Alexander Sulzer, is going to pass the Draft. He is out with an injury for the season and has played only 18 games this season. As a first time eligible players Sulzer has to opt-in till May, 1th. If he didn’t opt-in, he will go into the Draft of 2003.
