Kevin Romy (17 years old) and Thomas Déruns (20) currently enjoy a 12 day NHL-camp spell. Both Servette-Genève players, who previously played together at La Chaux-de Fonds, are currently testing their skills at the Los Angeles Kings' camp. Los Angeles happens to be part of the Anschutz-Group who also own Servette-Genève.

In this Development Camp 37 drafted players as well as the 2 undrafted Swiss forwards will give their utmost in order to try to convice the coaches.

Déruns has been passed over by the NHL teams for three season in a row now during the draft. Young Kevin Romy will become eligible in next year's draft.

With the Development camp just starting for both Déruns and Romy, HC Lugano forward Raffaele Sannitz is right in the middle of one. So far the 7th round Columbus Blue Jackets' Draft Pick has been doing very well. According to prospect director Paul Castron of the Blue Jackets, Sannitz is currently one of the brightest players in camp. Castron told the Blue Jackets Web site, "Sannitz is the biggest surprise in camp so far. He is big and strong and works very hard."

Currently also in camp are Swiss defensemen Timo Helbling (Nashville Predators) and Goran Bezina (Phoenix Coyotes).
