In last nights tight but meaningless match-up, (other than pride) the St. Louis rookies went down fighting against the tournament champion Washington rookies. Fights included Graham Mink one minute into the game. Brian Sutherby also dropped the gloves with St. Louis rookie McMeeken (who also accumulated a misconduct penalty). Jevon Desautels and Patrick Wellar also recieved 5-minute fighting penalties in an otherwise defensive battle.
