Ice Dog earns Player of the Week Honors

Toronto – The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Mississauga IceDogs centre Daniel Sisca is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday September 29, 2002 after scoring six goals and four assists for 10 points in three games.

Sisca, a 19-year-old Toronto native, opened the week with two goals and an assist in a 6-4 loss to the Peterborough Petes on September 26. He added a pair of goals and an assist in a 4-4 tie against the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors and closed the week with two goals and two assists in a 7-3 win over the Sudbury Wolves on September 29.

Sisca leads all OHL scorers with seven goals and four assists for 11 points in five games this season.
