Luca Cereda (Toronto Maple Leafs), forward
Luca Cereda has been assigned by Toronto to their farm team St. John's Maple Leafs in the AHL.
Julien Vauclair (Ottawa Senators), defenseman
Julien Vauclair was one of the later cuts at the Ottawa Camp. He will play for Ottawa's new AHL franchise Bingampton Steelers.
Goran Bezina (Phoenix Coyotes), defenseman
Bezina will start the season once again for the Springfield Falcons in the AHL. He and Michael Schutte were assigned to the AHL franchise and Martin Grenier and Dan Focht made it on the NHL team.
Martin Gerber (Anaheim Mighty Ducks), goaltender
Gerber was able to gain a roster spot in the NHL team and beat the likes of Ilya Bryzgalov who got sent to Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
David Aebischer (Colorado Avalanche), goaltender
Aebischer secured his back-up spot behind Patrick Roy for the upcoming season on the Avalanche roster.
Timo Helbling (Nashville Predators), defenseman Helbling will defend the colours of the Milwaukee Admirals in the AHL for the 2nd season in a row.
Daniel Manzato (Carolina Hurricanes), goaltender
Manzato remains playing in QMJHL with the Victoriaville Tigres in the upcoming season.
