GAME RECAPS
Friday, October 19, 2002 @ Bridgeport Sound Tigers
The Wolf Pack took on instate rivals the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and looked to continue their winning ways. The two teams were both held scoreless in the first period. In the second period the Sound Tigers lit the lamp for the only goal of the period. The Wolf Pack tied the game early in the third period. The Wolf Pack special teams than fell apart letting up two power play goals in a combined 19 seconds to the Sound Tigers. The Wolf Pack tried but could not score again and suffered their first loss of the season. The Wolf Pack were 0 of 5 on the power play and Jason LaBarbera stopped 19 of 22 Sound Tigers shots. The Sound Tigers were 3 of 7 on the power play and Rick DiPietro stopped 25 of 26 Wolf Pack shots.

Saturday, October 20, 2002 vs. Manchester Monarchs
The Wolf Pack played their first home game of the season against the visiting Manchester Monarchs. The Monarchs scored the only goal of the opening period. In the second period the Wolf Pack did all the scoring, but only managed to tie the game. In the third period the Monarchs scored the first two goals before the Wolf Pack had their last goal of the game. The Monarchs were 3 of 6 on the power play and Travis Scott stopped 31 of 33 Wolf Pack shots. The Wolf Pack were 0 of 7 on the power play and Scott Meyer stopped 31 of 34 Monarchs shots.
