Nikolai Zherdev
looked very
solid in the game. He had several
scoring chances and set up his
linemates on a  few occasions. St.
Louis Blues prospect Alexei
Shkotov
had a rough time against
Avangard’s stronger, larger defense
and got knocked down a couple of
times, slowly getting up each time.
Montreal Canadiens prospect
Alexander Perezhogin
had a great
chance where he went around four
CSKA players and faked out the
goalie, but couldn’t put the puck up
over the sprawled goaltender.

After a 4 game drought, Atlanta
Thrashers prospect Yuri
Dobryshkin
finally scored his 16th
of the season to get back into the
tie with Tysplakov for the sniper
lead.  He has cooled off quite a bit
as of late  – scoring just two goals
in the past 13 games after netting
14 goals in the previous 23.
Columbus Blue Jackets prospect
Yevgeniy Petrochinin
continued
to play on Severstal’s top defensive

Detroit Red Wings prospect Igor
Grigorenko
had a few great
chances, including one where he
puckhandled around two Amur players
before being stopped called by
Amur’s goalie Westlund in the second
period. He assisted Boikov Lada’s
overtime goal, feeding the latter
with a nice pass to the crease.
Another Detroit prospect,

Konstantin Glazachev
delivered a
solid game on Lokomotiv’s young line
with Washington’s Ivan Nepriayev

He was a credible scoring threat on
