Pack Tracks the Hartford Wolf Pack recap for the week of February 3, 2003 through February 9, 2003. The Wolf Pack returned from the All Star Break to continue their road trip. They have also made numerous transactions this past week.

Friday, February 7, 2003 @ Bridgeport Sound Tigers
The Wolf Pack took on their in state rivals the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The Wolf Pack jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period. In the second period the Sound Tigers scored the only goal of the period and cut the Wolf Pack lead in half. The Wolf Pack defense played well in the third period allowing only two Sound Tigers shots, unfortunately one of the shots went into the net to tie the game. The Sound Tigers than scored the winning goal in the overtime by a score of 3-2. The Wolf Pack were 0 of 1 on the power play and Jason LaBarbera stopped 26 of 29 Sound Tigers shots to drop his record to 12-12-2. The Sound Tigers were 1 of 7 on the power play and Scott Stirling stopped 17 of 19 Wolf Pack shots to improve his record to 3-0-0.

Saturday, February 8, 2003 @ Portland Pirates
On Saturday the Wolf Pack traveled up to Portland while on a two game losing streak. The Pirates scored the first goal of the game about midway through the opening period, but the Wolf Pack tied the game late in the period. In the second period the Wolf Pack scored the only goal of the period. The Pirates tied the game with only 15 seconds left in the game. The Wolf Pack ended up playing in their second overtime game in as many nights, but unlike the night before this game would end in a 2-2 tie. The Wolf Pack were of 3 on the power play and Jason LaBarbera stopped 40 of 42 Pirates shots to change his record to 12-12-3. The Pirates were 1 of 6 on the power play and Maxime Ouellet stopped 35 of 37 Wolf Pack shots to change his record to 17-9-3.
