Norwegian Prospects play for Norway in World B WC

The 2003 World Championships Group B are to be held at Zagreb in Croatia during the middle of April. Norway will meet Estonia, France, Croatia, Italy and Great Britain in the tourney with hopes to move up to Group A. The most high profile player for Norway is Espen Knutsen who plays for the Columbus Blue Jackets. Former NHL prospect/player Anders Myrvold joins the club. Myrvold plays for German club Adler Manheim. Other players of note are Tore Vikingstad a pick of the St.Louis Blues. Vikingstad plays for Dusseldorf in the German League with teammate Trond Magnussen. Joining the veterans are up and comer and Stars draft pick Marius Holtet who plays for Swedish team Bofors. Former USHL league player Lars Nagel is also on the roster.

Norway will open the tourney with a game against Croatia on the 14th. More reports will follow as the tourney progresses.
