Another season is underway in the QMJHL.  The new phenomenon, Rimouski’s Sydney Crosby, is already making a name for himself.  We will see two new teams, the Prince Edward Island Rocket and the Lewinston MAINEiacs, make their debut on their respective ices.  The 2003 NHL draft was a success for the Courteau League and most of the draftees will be returning on their junior teams after the NHL Training Camp.  Only goaltender Marc-André Fleury (Cape Breton Screaming Eagles) has a real chance to stick at the pro level with the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Snother good crop of young players will show their abilities throughout the season in order to get draft in the 2004 NHL draft.  Most of them will aspire to lead the way to the Memorial Cup which will be held in Kelowna, British Columbia.
