He redeemed himself again in the third period by tying the game. Philadelphia Flyers prospect Konstantin Rudenko scored made a nice feed to Antipov for Lokomotiv’s second goal of the game. He patiently held the puck on the three on two breakout before passing the puck to Antipov, who was screaming down the center. Alexander Ryazantsev (Washington Capitals) scored his second goal of the season using his powerful, precise slapshot from the blue line, which went above the goalie’s shoulder, right under the crossbar. The line Mozyakin (Columbus Blue Jackets) – Gorbunov – Subbotin was very effectiveall night, account for two goals by Vladimir Gorbunov (New York Islanders), who scored the first one off a nice feed from Mozyakin to the crease, and the second goal off a rebound from Mozyakin’s shot.
