Prospect Notes: Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Alexander Guskov assisted on Lokomotiv’s second goal with his powerful shot from the blue line,
causing a rebound that Slava Butsayev collected and put behind the sprawled goaltender. Rudenko showed a lot of maturity with his goal. He cut the space between him
and CSKA’s blue liner, former NHLer, Namestnikov, then tied him up using the stick and then decked him to the side, ending up alone in front of Torpedo’s net. Minesota
Wild prospect Mikhail Tulyapkin has been getting more ice time lately on the top two defensive pairings. He has been also working on his strong slapshot, which used
a couple of times in this game. Alexander Ryazantsev had a great scoring chance early in the first period, missing the wide open net.
