While he may not be one of the bigger players on any given ice surface, University of North Dakota forward Rocco Grimaldi is usually one of the more hard-working and talented players taking part in any game he is involved in.

Grimaldi is having a good season for the Fighting Sioux after missing most of the 2011-12 season with a knee injury. His efforts did not go unnoticed by USA Hockey as Grimaldi is currently playing for Team USA at the 2013 World Junior Championship.

Like the rest of his USA teammates, Grimaldi has had difficulty generating offense so far at the 2013 WJC. The Florida Panthers prospect has tallied just one assist so far in the tournament.

The USA squad has dropped two of three games at this tournament, to rivals Russia and Canada, and they now find themselves in a must-win situation heading into a game with Slovakia.

Grimaldi talked to the media about the 2-1 loss to Canada, and about his own efforts so far at this tournament. His comments are captured in this HF video.
