Western Conference Coaches Poll Results Announced

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the Western Conference results of the 2005-06 Coaches Poll.

OHL scoring leader Rob Schremp of the London Knights was recognized as the top player in three categories, including Most Dangerous in the Goal Area, Best Shot and Hardest Shot. Mike Angelidis of the Owen Sound Attack, Jordan Foreman of the London Knights, Bobby Ryan of the Owen Sound Attack and Andrej Sekera of the Owen Sound Attack were also recognized as the top player in multiple categories.

The OHL Coaches Poll provides team coaches with the opportunity to recognize players in several skill categories within their own conference. The top three players in each category from the Eastern and Western Conferences are recognized. Coaches vote for each category within their conference and are not permitted to vote for players on their team. Players receive five points for a first place vote, three points for a second place vote and one point for a third place vote.
