Wildcats capture CHL’s Top-10 regular season crown

BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, March 21, 2006 (QMJHL) – The Canadian Hockey League today announced the final BMO – Bank of Montreal CHL Top 10 rankings of the 2005-06 season. Three Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams managed to fill three of the top four spots.

The Moncton Wildcats clinched the year’s top spot thanks to a 107 point season. Thus, they earn the Jean Rougeau Trophy as the regular season champions. The Quebec Remparts finished second and collected the Western division crown. Finally, the Chicoutimi Saguenéens landed fourth place following an impressive campaign.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League’s top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
