The Ontario Hockey League today announced that London Knights’ forward Rob Schremp is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday March 26 after scoring three goals and seven assists for 10 points in three games last week.
Schremp started the week with five assists in London’s 6-1 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the opening game of their first round Western Conference playoff series. He scored a goal and two assists in a 6-3 win in Game 2 on March 24 and finished the week with a pair of powerplay goals that tied Game 3 in the third period. London scored in overtime to take a 3-0 lead in the series.
After winning the OHL scoring title with 57 goals and 88 assists for 145 points in 57 games, Schremp is tied with teammate Sergei Kostitsyn with 10 points for the playoff scoring lead.
