Todd named Greyhound WHL Player of the Week, 2006 playoff edition

Calgary – The Greyhound WHL Player of the Week is forward Daine Todd of the Medicine Hat Tigers. Todd earned player of the week honours by scoring four goals and five points during the first two games of the WHL MNP Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals best-of-seven series against the Swift Current Broncos. The Tigers lead the series two games to none.

On Friday, March 24th, Todd scored a goal in a 5-2 win in Game 1 against the visiting Swift Current Broncos.

On Saturday, March 25th, Todd recorded three power-play goals and added an assist in a 7-1 victory in Game 2 against the Broncos.

Games 3 and 4 of the series continue Tuesday and Wednesday from Swift Current. Game Time for both games is 7:30 PM.

Todd, a 19-year-old native of Red Deer, Alberta is eligible for the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
