The Ontario Hockey League today announced that London Knights’ goaltender Adam Dennis is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday April 30 after posting a 2-0 record with a 2.20 goals against average and .934 save percentage in two games.
Dennis started the week with 35 saves in a 2-1 win over the Guelph Storm in Game 4 of the Rogers Western Conference Championship Series on April 25. He followed up with 36 saves in a 5-4 overtime win over the Storm in Game 5 of the series on April 28. London won the series in five games and will face the Peterborough in the Rogers OHL Championship Series beginning in London on Friday.
Dennis improved his playoff record to 12-3 with a 3.02 goals against average and .925 save percentage in 15 games.
