Switzerland wanted to start well at the 2013 U18 World Junior Championship, and they did exactly that after taking a 4-1 win from Slovakia on Day 2 of the tournament.

While he didn't get his name on the scoresheet, dimunutive Swiss defenseman Xeno Busser finished the game with a +1 rating and generally handled himself well against a Slovak squad that didn't have as much fight as they put forth in their first game vs. Canada.

Busser is a 95-born player who is not presently ranked by Central Scouting. He played most of the 2012-13 season with the GC Kusnacht Lions of the Swiss National League B. In 42 games for the Lions, Busser scored four goals and eight assists for 12 points.

Busser spoke with Hockey's Future about the win over Slovakia following the game.
