McArdle returns to Warriors

The Florida Panthers on Tuesday reassigned forward Kenndal McArdle to the Moose Jaw Warriors for the 2006-07 season.

McArdle, 19, was Florida’s first-round selection in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, and appeared in one pre-season contest with the Panthers on Sunday versus the Calgary Flames.

Also on Tuesday, the Colorado Avalanche reassigned forward Codey Burki to the Brandon Wheat Kings, forward Chris Durand to the Seattle Thunderbirds, and defenseman Raymond Macias to the Kamloops Blazers.

The Columbus Blue Jackets returned forward Kirill Starkov to the Red Deer Rebels, forward Derek Dorsett to the Medicine Hat Tigers, and defenseman Ben Wright to the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The Tampa Bay Lightning also made a move on Tuesday, reassigning defenseman Dane Crowley to the Swift Current Broncos.
