Toronto, Ontario – Each month the Canadian Hockey League & NAPA Auto Parts will recognize the top draft eligible player for the upcoming 2007 NHL Entry Draft based on their play over the course of the month. Each winner will be recognized at a future home game and will be presented with a NAPA Auto Parts prize pack.
The Canadian Hockey League today announced the winners of the NAPA Draft Prospects of the Month for the month of October.

Jonathan Blum, Vancouver Giants

Sam Gagner, London Knights
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
Jakub Voracek, Halifax Mooseheads
Jonathan Blum is a big reason why the Vancouver Giants are the top ranked club in the Canadian Hockey League. Blum has four goals and 16 points in 16 games this season and currently sits third in scoring amongst WHL defencemen. Sam Gagner ended the month of October leading all draft eligible players with 33 points in just 12 games. The native of Oakville, Ontario is also leading the OHL scoring race in his rookie campaign. Jakub Voracek is another CHL rookie and has powered the Mooseheads offence in his first season in the CHL. The native of the Czech Republic has 25 points in his first 17 games and has enjoyed a smooth transition to the QMJHL.
