Thomas Beauregard named CHL Player of the Week

Toronto - The Canadian Hockey League announced today that Thomas Beauregard of the Acadie-Bathurst Titan is the CHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday November 12 after scoring eight goals and two assists for 10 points in four games.
Beauregard started the week with an assist in the Titans' 4-3 loss to the Lewiston MAINE-iacs on November 7. He scored two goals and added an assist in a 5-2 win over the Quebec Remparts on November 8. Beauregard scored back to back hat tricks in a 7-0 win over the Rimouski Oceanic on November 11 and a 5-1 win over the Saint John Sea Dogs on November 12.
Steve Downie of the Peterborough Petes was the OHL Player of the Week after scoring five goals and four assists in three games last week. Zack Boychuk of the Lethbridge Hurricanes was the QMJHL's offensive player of the week after scoring two goals and three assists in two games.
